INITIAL DESIGN CONSULTATION

MY DESIGN PROCESS

1 - CONCEPTION

Conception begins as soon as I walk through the door to our initial meeting. Through conversation, observation and walk-throughs, we agree on a concept that will guide us through the project. Conception is the building block for a successful project.

What can you expect from this stage:

  • Conversations around material selection and colour palette

  • Planning and scheduling

  • Initial budget drafting

2 - DESIGN DEVELOPMENT & DOCUMENTATION

Things get specific in phase two, where I present you with a design that aligns with the agreed-upon concept. Any design documentation will also be delivered in this phase.

What can you expect from this stage:

  • Fixture, furniture and finish selections

  • Floorplans and interior placement

  • Detailed joinery documentation and elevations

3 - COORDINATION & DESIGN MANAGEMENT

I liaise with your preferred builder, who is your project manager, throughout the construction process, to answer any questions that come up during construction.

What can you expect from this stage:

  • Fixtures, fittings and furniture procurement

  • Delivery coordination as needed

  • Site meetings as required

4 - STYLING

In the final phase of your project, once construction is finished, I’ll add the finishing touches to your home, such as furniture, artwork and window furnishing.

What can you expect from this stage:

  • Delivery and placement of furniture, artwork and window furnishing

  • Final selections of decorative items

  • Styling of relevant rooms
